Hi! I’m Chong Peng. I have been a state registered nurse since 1991. I also hold a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nursing) degree from the University of Sydney and advanced nursing specializations in critical care nursing. I practiced nursing in many demanding hospital settings. One of the challenges I faced was setting up the first invasive cardiac unit of TTSH, engineering its operating procedures, developing its quality standards and working towards achieving ISO9000 certification for TTSH.
Nursing aside, music has been my passion. I am a trained musician with teaching and performing experience.
I have 2 wonderful children. The upbringing of my older child was very challenging. He had a near-fatal condition at birth which created severe uncertainty regarding his potential neurological and physiological well-being. Fearing the worse, I became a full-time personal nurse to him during his first 12 months on earth. I committed myself to learn and develop practices that would nurture him positively to counter any potential threat to his well-being. Thankfully, my son is now well and healthy.
In view of what I went through, I was granted the opportunity to counsel and support mothers who faced similar trials. I can personally understand the difficulties that parents face when determining how best to care for and bring up their precious ones. It is my deepest desire to share my experiences and provide an infant and toddler care centre like no other. I strive to ensure a well-managed homelike environment conducive for infants and toddlers – and where parents like you will also feel at home.
