MapleBear Singapore is headed by Maple Bear Global Schools located in Vancouver, Canada.

Awarded the “Best in Preschool Bilingual Literacy Award” in 2017, MapleBear Singapore understands the importance and benefits of raising a bilingual child. Using our signature Bilingual Immersion methodology, our programme incorporates a progressive language structure which encourages children to speak, read and write in both English and Chinese.

Offering a rigorous program utilising Canadian methodology and curriculum, it has been developed ground up by Canadian teaching experts and refined for the children of Singapore by local childcare education expert, Mrs Patricia Koh (founder of Pat’s Schoolhouse).

The Maple Bear early childhood program is carefully designed: daily routines, activity centers, and the way children acquire knowledge. The program allows children to create, explore, discover, and it offers many opportunities to develop their social, emotional, motor, language, and cultural skills.

Literacy, which includes listening skills, speaking, reading and writing, is one of the most important goals of the Maple Bear program. Students engage in reading and learning pre-writing skills in both English and Mandarin to prepare them for entry into Primary 1 by the end of Senior Kindergarten.
