Shortly after the arrival of my youngest son Roy, I felt that I had found my true calling. I had successfully given birth and granted life to my four boys and began to conceive many clear ideas of what truly matters. I adore working with young children and could see myself doing it for the rest of my life.
Some people say that character is caught and not taught. This issue is too important to be left to hearsay. Hence, building on my prior training in early childhood education, I went on to develop CM’s Character-Morphosis Programme, which is very much leveraging on the research of world-renowned developmental psychologist and educator, Dr Thomas Lickona.  His core belief informs us that character must be taught, caught and practiced for it to take root in a child’s heart.
Children should be motivated both to learn and do what is right, instead of being coerced or threatened into it. When we set children on the right track from a young age, we give them the fuel to go far and beyond. Motivation is a self-renewable energy. When children find fulfillment through positive experiences, it generates confidence and enthusiasm to do more. In fact research informs us that children who develop attentiveness (including ability to follow instructions) and patience in the preschool years, they do better academically in college and at work later in life.
It’s been 10 years since I first started on the CM journey and I am still loving it! I wish to invite you to join our community of children, teachers and parents who care deeply enough about academic excellence and moral integrity. It is essential today to a make a difference not only in the lives of our children now but also our society. Our future lies in the children of today. Come, let us make the beautiful transformation count amongst our young minds.
